About thirty feet below the surface, Ben and I ware screwing around a little boat and feeding the bluegill. I cracked open a Zebra mussel and fed a little four-inch guy. We made a new friend and he swam around my mask begging for more. As we followed the hull up from the stern we both stopped, struck from the sunlight streaming through the water and landing on our masks. You could see the trees lightly blowing in the wind and it was just beautiful. We swam back to the shore and that little bluegill followed us the whole way. Don’t forget to look up sometimes when you’re diving-you never know when you’ll get to see something like that. The world looks different from underwater.
